a) General rules and regulations of the Russell Agricultural Society apply.
b) Only three articles per exhibitor may be exhibited.
c) In lieu of entry fees, exhibitors will have an extra 10% deducted for winnings over $10.
d) Exhibitor numbers, tags and entry form are available by contacting the Fair Secretary at 6136-445-1742 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
e) Entries may be placed in the Curling Rink on Wednesday, September 6 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm or Thursday, September 7, between 8:00 and 9:30 am. All exhibits must be tagged, numbered and in the Curling Rink by 9:30 am, Thursday, September 7, 2017. Entries to be removed on Sunday, September 10 between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
NOTE: The aim of this section is to display antique articles from our community and to give a history so people can understand and be proud of their heritage. With each submission please provide, in 25 words or less, a brief history of the item.
CLASS 13 – ANTIQUES
“Travel and Transportation”. Exhibits are to represent any type of transportation from at least 50 years ago. Suggested items are parts of vehicles, models, tools, bicycles, railway souvenirs, photos, advertising, signs and tickets. Items must be more than 50 years old. If the history of the item is known, please attach a brief description.
